We call ourselves Archetype to capture layers of meaning. At one level, there is an obvious connection to the word architecture, but on another there is the connection to symbolic archetypes as found in the subconscious. This connection reflects the deep spiritual interest that we have in understanding who we are.

Practicing architecture has allowed an exploration into spirituality and the mechanics of the universe through the process of design as well as embracing the practice of Feng Shui.

Chi is what Feng shui is all about.

What is chi? It is the life-breath of the universe, and it flows through things that you can see and touch and becomes the intangible feeling of a space. As architects, when we design something, we manipulate how chi flows through a physical form.

Form is chi manifested. Your eyes trace the flow of chi as it articulates itself as columns, walls, into openings and up into the shapes formed by architecture.

Being an architect is a great way to creatively ride the chi. Deciding how to physically position a built form, how the sun-ray's enter, how the breeze flows through a space requires a certain alignment with natures patterns.

As architects, we are always asking how does the space make you FEEL. Is it warm and inviting, does it allow you to relax, be calm, or be productive. It is Chi which connects people in this feeling emotionally and psychologically.

From a spiritual perspective, we find it a humbling experience to create an architectural form or space through which chi can express itself - it is consciousness becoming manifest through the design process, flowing through the forms, accumulating into spaces - understanding Feng shui becomes a spiritual conversation where life-breath, chi, is using us as its instruments; it’s as though we are being asked to find the chi, manifest it, manipulate it, ride it and through this process create spaces and forms which inspire and align with who we are.

Architectural spaces can assist healing. As an architect, I am passionate about integrating appropriately all aspects of energy, both physical and unseen, and I understand how the manipulation of form and space can be central to our sense of wellbeing. Whether it be designing your home, commercial space or building, or indeed a simple logo, the energy of the form and space should be reflective of, and attract your desired intention.

My tandem work in Feng Shui can assist you in the home, or business, connecting you with positive underlying subconscious energy patterns whilst resolving the negative. I have extensive experience as a Feng Shui consultant, working at both personal and organisational levels, locally and internationally (online consultations available).

My recent work in Matrix Energetics has been an intuitive extension to healing through space with Feng Shui. I work with you in a one on one private session playing with patterns of consciousness and facilitating transformation and verifiable change in all areas - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It is doing ‘inner work’ with the architecture of the psyche.
