A holiday home in picturesque Italy brought together expertise from several countries, being designed for the client in Australia by Archetype; modularly pre- fabricated in Germany and delivered on a truck to Italy; and constructed on site by local Italian builders. This design brings the Australian value of being connected to outside using a central upper 'courtyard deck'.
A very expressive cubist form incorporates the latest modular cladding technology and is juxtaposed with the rustic stone constructed substructure and retaining walls.
