This project was completed over a decade and Archetype’s involvement comprised: Renovation and overhaul of existing commercial building to better suit needs and functions of child centred learning of Montessori school methods of education. Creating a new “centre” from which spaces connected and school community could gather. Courtyards and atriums were integrated into the planning. Feng Shui principles were used in guiding the creative process. Addition of a new second story library/community space. Liaison with government bodies to secure the requisite playground for the school and next generations as well as assistance with preparation and presentation of documents to win government funding bid.
